How does the Estimator Engine Work?

We custom-build your estimator and survey to match your material lists and pricing.

We then install a button on your website or embed the estimator directly on your page.

When a lead fills out the estimator survey they instantly get a price range estimate for the job and you get detailed requirements from them for their job.

The estimate is displayed on screen instantly for your lead and provides them with an easy "click a button" option to request a follow-up.

The estimate with all your company details and branding is also emailed to them directly - saving you hours of work!

The Estimator Engine is not such a good fit for businesses where there are many many variables, such as landscapers where you have to pick items based on a design element.

There are too many variables to provide an online estimate - we need to measure and quote.

Absolutely, and we agree, you cannot Quote without seeing the job or relying on the information from a customer.

But this is an Estimate for your customers (not a quote) who are just looking for an idea of the price to get started so you can qualify them and NOT waste time on Quotes that go nowhere.

It is very clear to the customer that the price supplied is an Estimate, not a Quote, as we provide a low and high price range for their enquiry.

Our Estimator Engine is fully customised to your material costs and can account for specific items and accessories

If there are items that it is not possible to account for on an estimate, such as scaffolding for roofers then they are not included in the estimate and that is clearly stated to the customer on the Estimate.

If they are happy with the Estimate you then know they are a qualified lead and can then invest the time to provide a detailed quote.

We want to speak to our customers - not rely on them contacting us based on an online estimate.

We see that typically around 70% of leads that ask for an estimate online will ask for a follow-up quote.

You can, and should, always reach out to all leads in case they forgot to ask for a follow-up.
